charity cycle ride
This summer, Cumbria Pension Fund is supporting a charity cycling challenge with its investment partner, Border to Coast. Ewan McCulloch, Chief Stakeholder Officer at Border to Coast, will take on the ‘Tour de Partnership’ – a gruelling 1,300km ride over ten days.
Starting at Carlisle Castle on Monday 3 August, Ewan will cycle through all 18 Local Government Pension Scheme areas, finishing in Kent and Sussex. Funds raised will support children’s charities across the regions, with Cumbria Pension Fund backing the Watchtree Watchtower Project.
As part of the fundraising effort, the Pensions team will be hosting a bake sale and raffle in Parkhouse (1st Floor, West Wing) on 14 and 15 July, with a range of prizes and treats on offer. Colleagues will also join Ewan for the first leg of the ride from Carlisle, helping to send him off in style.
Please support the team by joining the raffle and bake sale, or by donating if you can via the fundraising link: Cumbria Pension Fund & Border to Coast charity cycle ride.
